Olay Definity Self Repair Serum – 1.7 Oz,
I am a big fan of Olay, so when I read about this product I thought I had to try it. It arrived all in good time. Once I tried it, I found it a bit runny and it has a mild smell of tanning lotion. It was not how I expected it. When it was discribed as a serum I thought it would not be a runny. I was not as impressed as i thought I would be. It took a while to soak into my skin. I have very good skin and I take a lot of care with it, so I do like to try new products, but this one was not the best I have tried. Olay regenerist is a much better product.

does not do what they say it does,
As with the other Olay products I purchased, it does not eradicate age spots or discolorations, which was my reason for purchasing it. It does nothing but moisturize your face without leaving it oily.

Smells REALLY pretty…Much like perfume,
I bought this definity serum about 6 months ago, and have only applied it 5-6 times, and never 2 days in the same week. I don’t get very many expensive (to me) face creams and stuff like this, and even though I have recently become interested in working on my beauty, I haven’t even liked or used this product enough to see if it makes my skin prettier. It smells really good to me, but I can imagine a lot of people feeling like it’s way too perfumey to put on their face. I think it smells more like…well, you know the kind of lotion you can get that matches your perfume…it reminds me of something more like that. My face is somewhat sensitive, and some products I’ve tried in the past have stung, and when I apply this product it stings. For the most part it’s absorbed fairly quickly, within 5 minutes, but for me it stays really tacky for the first 15-20 minutes. That makes me think it would not do well under makeup, for me anyway. I haven’t tried it during the day, only at night, because of the stickiness (until today, to help me with this review). I’m going to try to use it at night for a while, or maybe just use on my hands, and see what that does. I don’t want it to just sit around till I toss it. I’ll come back and update my review. So, yeah, I put it on my face about 30 minutes ago and it still feels a tiny bit tacky, and although it doesn’t really sting or burn now, it feels irritated, and like my face must be red. I looked in the mirror, it is red, yuck! At this point, I have to say I would not recommend this product. But, of course, everyone’s skin is so different
Oh, I’m 42, combo skin, still have acne, face becomes red easily, uneven tone, and large pores. Lucky me, eh? Have a nice day
